About the Role
GreenWave IT is seeking highly motivated and result-oriented Senior Telesales Executives to promote and drive corporate participation in the TOI Ecopreneur Awards 2026, a national platform recognizing businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations making significant contributions to sustainability, environmental innovation, and green business practices. The awards recognize organizations across multiple sustainability-focused categories and offer participants national visibility and recognition.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging corporate decision-makers, explaining the value proposition of the awards, generating nominations, and converting prospects into participants.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Outreach & Lead Generation
- Contact corporate organizations, SMEs, startups, sustainability-focused enterprises, and business leaders through outbound calls.
- Identify key decision-makers including Founders, CEOs, Managing Directors, Sustainability Heads, ESG Managers, Marketing Heads, and Business Development Leaders.
- Generate interest in the TOI Ecopreneur Awards 2026 and educate prospects about participation opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
Sales & Conversion
- Present the benefits of award nominations and participation packages.
- Explain award categories, nomination processes, eligibility criteria, and recognition opportunities.
- Handle objections professionally and convert prospects into confirmed participants.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets related to nominations and registrations.
- Follow up consistently with interested prospects until closure.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with corporate stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the nomination process.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and participant support.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and professionalism during all interactions.
CRM & Reporting
- Update lead status, call outcomes, and follow-up schedules in CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate records of conversations and sales activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Track conversion metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies
Sales Skills
- Strong B2B telesales and corporate communication abilities.
- Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience in event sales, award nominations, conference sponsorships, or corporate partnerships is preferred.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal communication in English.
- Ability to confidently engage CXOs and senior corporate leaders.
- Professional email communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building capabilities.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in:
