Job Description

I. Job Overview

The Corporate Planning Director is responsible for leading the development of the company's medium- and long-term strategic plans, annual operating plans, and major special projects, and driving the implementation of these strategies. This position ensures a clear strategic direction, reasonable resource allocation, and an executable business development path through cross-departmental collaboration, supporting the company's sustainable growth, value creation, and competitive advantage.

II. Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning Development

Lead the organization of the company's 5-10 year development strategic plan, three-year rolling plan, and annual operating plan development.

Analyze industry trends, technological evolution, policy dynamics, and market competition landscape to complete strategic research and establish strategic hypotheses.

Collaborate with various business lines and functional departments to integrate information and form an overall development strategy and strategic map.

Establish and update a comprehensive strategic indicator system and key performance indicators (OKRs/KPIs).

2. Strategic Implementation and Execution Management

Decompose the strategy into actionable business objectives, action plans, resource allocation recommendations, and timelines.

Responsible for the initiation, evaluation, tracking, risk management, and closed-loop management of strategic projects.

Regularly report strategic execution progress to management and the board of directors, and propose early warning and optimization plans.

Promote alignment of strategic direction across business units to ensure organizational consistency.

3. Business Analysis and Decision Support

Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of business big data, industry data, and external macroeconomic data.

Establish forward-looking business models (such as scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial models).

Provide professional analysis and advice for major company-level decisions (investment, mergers and acquisitions, business expansion, product line planning, etc.).

Continuously track competitor activities and generate competitor monitoring and competitive strategy reports.

4. Organizational Capabilities and Change Management

Participate in promoting organizational structure optimization, process management optimization, and the construction of cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms.

Assume the role of strategic change project leader or PMO head to ensure the efficient implementation of change plans.

Promote the development of corporate innovation culture and strategic thinking capabilities (such as training, seminars, and strategic meetings).

5. External Collaboration and Resource Integration

Liaison with external consulting firms, government agencies, research institutions, and industry associations to obtain strategic insights.

Serves as the company's front-line representative for external projects, integrating external resources to support the company's development.

III. Qualifications

1. Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Finance, Management Science, or related fields.

MBA, CPA, CMA, CSCA, CM&AA, or strategic management certifications are preferred.

2. Work Experience

20 years of relevant experience (strategic planning, operations management, management consulting, PMO, investment banking, M&A related positions).

Experience in multinational corporations, listed companies, large and medium-sized enterprises, or professional consulting firms is a plus.

Successful track records in driving strategic implementation, leading major projects, and cross-departmental management.

3. Skills Required

Clear strategic thinking, with structured analysis and data insight capabilities.

Excellent business understanding, systematic planning, and logical reasoning abilities.

Excellent communication and coordination skills, cross-departmental influence, project management capabilities, and change management experience.

Experience in business model design, financial planning, industry analysis, and scenario forecasting.

Familiar with OKR, Balanced Scorecard, Strategy Map, Process Management and Business Analysis Tools.
