Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Brand, Marketing & Digital

  • Lead execution of the corporate marketing strategy, ensuring consistent brand positioning across all channels
  • Drive integrated marketing initiatives across digital, content, and client touchpoints to support business growth
  • Manage corporate digital platforms (website, social media) to enhance engagement and brand visibility, supported by performance tracking and optimisation
  • Partner with investment and distribution teams to translate product strategies into clear market-facing narratives

Corporate Communications, PR & Executive Positioning

  • Lead corporate communications and public relations, including media relations, press releases, and thought leadership
  • Manage external stakeholders including media partners to strengthen reputation and market presence
  • Drive the CEO's external positioning and leadership narrative, ensuring consistent visibility across LinkedIn, media, and industry platforms
  • Translate business priorities into targeted visibility opportunities, including media features, speaking engagements, and industry forums

Content & Messaging

  • Develop and manage end-to-end content and messaging across corporate communications, marketing campaigns, and investment/product materials (e.g. fund brochures, factsheets).
  • Simplify complex financial and investment concepts into clear, investor-friendly communication.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and regulatory compliance across all outputs.
  • Support creation of basic visual and digital assets aligned to brand guidelines, working with designers where required.

Events & Client Engagement

  • Lead planning and execution of client events, seminars, webinars, and corporate engagements
  • Align event strategy with business development and client engagement priorities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery including post-event follow-up and effectiveness tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, or PR within asset management, investment, or broader financial services preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong exposure to regulated financial marketing environments, with familiarity in Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia guidelines preferred.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills, with ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear investor messaging across formats.
  • Experience in executive communications or leadership branding, ideally supporting senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, including campaign execution, analytics, and performance optimisation.
  • Proven experience delivering offline marketing initiatives, including seminars, webinars, and client events.
  • Working knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva or equivalent) to support basic visual content creation, with strong sense of layout and brand consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage senior leadership confidently.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong execution discipline, balanced with structured thinking and collaborative working style.
