  • Lead and Manage Sales Function: Oversee all day-to-day hotel sales activities, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the management team to create and execute a sales plan targeting revenue, customers, and market segmentation for hotel business strategies.
  • Revenue Maximization: Work with the Revenue Manager to ensure rate negotiations align with financial targets, maximizing revenue opportunities to meet monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including OTAs, agents, and corporate clients, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new business opportunities and develop new feeder markets to expand the customer base.
  • Negotiations and Deals: Conduct effective sales presentations and close deals with corporate clients and key B2B agents.
  • Inventory and Revenue Management: Work closely with CRM and resort leadership to manage inventory, revenue forecasting, and ensure appropriate strategies are in place.
  • Marketing and Promotional Strategy: Plan and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract new business.
  • Sales Events Participation: Plan and participate in trade shows, sales events, and exhibitions to enhance visibility and increase sales opportunities.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships within the local community to expand the customer base and identify new business opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and coach the Hotel Sales Development (HSD) team as per sales plans and budgetary requirements.
  • Sales Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report on sales and financial data regularly (daily, weekly, and monthly) to leadership teams.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Prepare annual budgets and implement the sales and marketing plan, ensuring successful execution.
  • Task and People Management: Balance task-oriented and people-oriented responsibilities to drive performance in a fast-paced corporate environment.
