Job MissionYou will serve as Hoora's principal liaison to external regulatory, administrative, and governmental bodies. Your mission is to mitigate strategic regulatory risk, secure necessary governmental approvals for expansion, and leverage a deep network of connections within key agencies (RTO, Police, Municipalities) to safeguard and accelerate the company's business objectives and Vehicle 360 vision.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Regulatory Engagement- Government Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for engagements with State and Local government agencies, Municipalities, RTOs, and Law Enforcement (Police).
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and compliance risks that could impact Hoora's operations, especially concerning vehicle service, logistics, and insurance verticals.
- Network Leverage: Utilize an extensive professional network within public service sectors to facilitate smooth operations, resolve complex administrative bottlenecks, and gain insights into upcoming policy changes.
2. Business Expansion & Compliance- Licensing & Approvals: Strategically manage the process for obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and clearances required for rapid geographical expansion and the launch of new business verticals.
- Policy Shaping: Advise the leadership team on opportunities to strategically engage with policy-making bodies to ensure emerging regulations support innovation within the mobility and vehicle service sector.
- Crisis Management: Lead the company's response to regulatory inquiries or public sector issues, ensuring prompt and favorable resolution.
3. Advisory & Governance- Internal Counsel: Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and leadership team on navigating complex political and governmental landscapes that influence market entry and operational stability.
- Ethical Standards: Ensure all governmental interactions and liaison activities are conducted with the highest ethical standards and integrity.
Ideal Candidate Profile- Background (Mandatory): Candidates must possess a distinguished history in high-level public service, ideally as Ex-Judges, Ex-IAS, Ex-IPS, Ex-IRS officers, or equivalent senior roles in governmental or regulatory bodies.
- Network & Influence: Possess a powerful, established network and strong connections within relevant government bodies, including RTOs, Local Municipal Corporations, and Law Enforcement agencies.
- Legal/Regulatory Acumen: Deep expertise in administrative law, governance, regulatory frameworks, and compliance specific to transport, licensing, and business operations.
- Strategic Resolution: Proven capability to resolve high-stakes issues and administrative challenges efficiently outside of adversarial legal processes, leveraging negotiation and strong internal relationships.
- Business Insight: Ability to quickly understand Hoora's technology and business model to translate operational needs into regulatory strategies.
