Position Overview
The Corporate Human Resource Manager will be responsible for end-to-end HR management across the organization. This role requires a hands-on HR professional who can independently manage recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, performance management, and policy implementation.
The position is based at the Corporate Office and will work closely with top management, plant heads, and department leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate office, manufacturing plants, and sales/project teams.
Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
Handle sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Build a strong talent pipeline for technical, sales, and support roles.
HR Operations & Administration
Manage employee records, attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
Oversee joining, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
Ensure smooth onboarding and exit formalities.
Maintain HR MIS, reports, and dashboards for management review.
Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including:
PF, ESI
Factory Act
Shops & Establishment Act
Contract Labour Act
Gratuity, Bonus, and Minimum Wages
Coordinate with consultants and government authorities.
Handle audits, inspections, and statutory documentation.
Performance Management & Appraisals
Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
Coordinate annual performance reviews and increment processes.
Support management in setting KPIs and evaluating performance.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as a bridge between management and employees.
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
Promote positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Handle internal communication and policy awareness programs.
HR Policies & Process Improvement
Draft, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and manuals.
Ensure consistent HR practices across all locations.
Recommend process improvements aligned with business growth.
Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate technical and behavioral training programs.
Support leadership development and skill enhancement initiatives.
Maintain training records and effectiveness reports.
Corporate HR Leadership
Advise management on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Support succession planning and talent retention strategies.
Ensure confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism in all HR matters.
Required Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or infrastructure companies.
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Experience handling HR for plant and corporate environments.
