Job Description

MSCI Services is looking for a Corporate Governance Data Analyst to support projects and initiatives aimed at creating efficiencies within our Governance Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Search and process corporate governance information on MSCI's CG universe using acceptable methods, techniques, and sources.
  • Develop subject matter expertise and take ownership of corporate governance knowledge within the organization.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with other groups such as ESG Research and Controversies to improve understanding of corporate governance and data collection methodologies.
  • Conduct frequent research to procure, verify, and process data by Browse various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and materials, as well as corporate governance databases.

Qualifications:

  • Good judgment in assessing available information and accurate encoding of data as per MSCI methodology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Company Law, or a similar field of study.
  • Candidates with prior experience with ESG, specifically corporate governance data research and analysis, will be prioritized.
