Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the real estate sector. As part of its continued growth and capital management initiatives, the group is seeking an experienced Director, Corporate Finance & Treasury to lead financing, treasury and capital structure activities. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in supporting acquisitions, developments, asset enhancement initiatives and refinancing activities while ensuring optimal funding and liquidity management.

In this highly visible leadership position, you will be responsible for originating and executing debt financing transactions, leading refinancing exercises and developing financing strategies to support the group's real estate portfolio. You will oversee financial and tax structuring for investment and development projects, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and lead the review and execution of loan documentation through to drawdown. In addition, you will be accountable for managing a sizeable debt portfolio, including monitoring financing costs, covenant compliance, refinancing requirements and lender reporting obligations. Treasury responsibilities will include liquidity planning, cash flow management, banking relationships, hedging activities, loan rollovers, and other treasury operations to support the group's funding requirements. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders while leading and developing a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, treasury, structured finance or real estate finance. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in debt financing, capital management, financial structuring and stakeholder management within a complex corporate environment. Prior experience within a large real estate owner, developer, property group or diversified conglomerate will be highly regarded. The successful individual will be a commercially astute leader with strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This represents an outstanding opportunity to join a prominent real estate group in a strategic leadership capacity, with direct exposure to key financing decisions and significant influence over the organisation's capital and treasury agenda.
