Corporate Finance Manager

About the Role

UrbanWrk is looking to strengthen its Corporate Finance function with an addition to the team to keep pace with a growing MIS, reporting, and financial modelling workload. This role will own the numbers infrastructure that supports leadership decision-making, turning raw, disparate data into clean, decision-ready reporting for a high-growth managed office space business operating across multiple cities. The candidate will also get an exposure to PE funds, large financial institutions, key stakeholders, stock Market, HNI & Ultra HNI Investors in the investment world.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Financial Reporting

• Own the end-to-end MIS reporting cycle accurate, timely, and tailored to a rapidly scaling managed office space business.
• Deliver data-driven insights that enable faster, better-informed decisions for UrbanWrk's leadership.
• Continuously refine reporting methodologies as the business grows in complexity.

2. Financial Modelling

• Build and maintain robust financial models with multiple levers, testing scenarios that inform business and investment decisions
• Support scenario planning, variance analysis, cash flow management, forecasting & budgeting, annual operating plans for the finance team.

3. Dashboards & Data

• Churn raw, disparate data into structured, decision-ready dashboards for leadership and business teams.
• Partner with business teams to define what should be tracked, not just what's easy to report.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CA or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, MIS, or related roles.

Preferred Industry

• Flex operator / managed office space, warehousing, retail, RE funds, NBFC, or venture debt firms.

Non-Negotiables

• Strong, hands-on detailed and granular MIS ownership.
• Strong financial modelling capability.
• Advance Excel
• Proven ability to churn raw data into meaningful decision ready data.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Equity or Debt fundraising & Investor relations experience.
• Background doing FP&A for organisations with revenue under ₹500 Cr.
• Practical knowledge of working and preparation of IGAAP / INDAS
