Counsel – General Corporate & Commercial
Experience: 8–12 years
We are looking to hire a legal professional to help build Temple's legal backbone from the ground up. As we scale, we need someone who can be a genuine thought partner to the business, not just a contract reviewer.
The role sits at the intersection of general corporate advisory, commercial contracting, service agreements, intra-group transactions, and real-time business problem-solving.
You will thrive if you have:
- Strong commercial contracting experience. Someone who can draft, review, negotiate, and advise with a clear understanding of the business behind the contract
- Experience handling service agreements, vendor and customer arrangements, intra-group transactions, corporate structuring, and related documentation
- A solid general corporate advisory foundation, with the ability to give practical, clear legal opinions on day-to-day business matters
- The judgment to independently spot legal and commercial risk, and the maturity to come with solutions, not just concerns
- Comfort working directly with business, finance, operations, and product teams. Someone who makes it easier to move, not harder
- Sharp drafting and negotiation skills, and the communication ability to make complex legal positions land simply
- A business-first mindset: you know the law well enough to know when to push back, and you are pragmatic enough to know when not to
