The client is dedicated to facilitating the development and adoption of advanced technologies within the aviation sector. The client strives to advance aviation innovation by translating research into real-world operational capabilities, fostering stronger international partnerships, and nurturing a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

As the Corporate Communications Specialist, you will take ownership of the organisation's core communications channels while leading a flagship networking event for research institute partners.

Job Scope:

  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will manage the organisation's day-to-day communications output, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across the monthly newsletter, website, LinkedIn, and media touchpoints.
  • You will produce the monthly company newsletter end-to-end, from gathering content to distribution, and maintain the corporate website, including gathering content and stakeholder input in preparation for a website revamp in Q2 2027.
  • You will manage the company's LinkedIn presence in full - planning, writing, and publishing content - and act as the first point of contact for incoming media queries, coordinating appropriate responses with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • The key project during this period is leading the planning and execution of a networking session for a research institute audience of up to 150 attendees, covering the full event lifecycle from venue and vendor coordination to on-site delivery and post-event reporting.

Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced communications practitioner who can operate independently across multiple channels, get messaging and positioning right for different audiences, and manage a significant event from planning through execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Solid grasp of core communications strategy - able to shape messaging and positioning that is consistent, clear, and tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing content calendars and corporate LinkedIn or social media channels.
  • Experience handling media queries and PR communications.
  • Proven event planning experience, ideally with mid-to-large scale events (100+ attendees).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) is an advantage.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a good to have, for creating visuals for the newsletter, LinkedIn, and event collateral.
  • Good team player with excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
