Core Team - Retail Wealth

About the Opportunity

Tailwind is launching a retail mutual fund distribution vertical targeting long-term, goal-based SIP investments for the 25-50 years age bracket retail / mass affluent segment in Mumbai. As a core team member, you are - equal parts closer, recruiter, trainer, and strategist. You will personally be involved in sales in the early months, be part of hiring and training of RM cohorts, building the event-led acquisition playbook, and scale the team to achieve a defined SIP book target.

Required Experience

• Above 3 years in mutual fund distribution, wealth advisory, insurance sales leadership, or bank RM management (however, we are looking for driven individuals and flexible on this criteria)
• Comfort with event-based and seminar-based selling (not just 1:1 or digital leads)
• NISM Series V-A certified (or willing to clear within 30 days of joining)
• High energy, high ownership - this is a startup-within-a-company role
• Experience in hiring and managing a team is desired

Preferred

• Understanding of mutual fund investments along with key terminology
• Experience with community engagement events
• Strong network in Mumbai
