This role requires expertise in developing ad campaigns, social media content, website copy, and brand storytelling.
As a Copywriter at RBC Worldwide, you will work closely with designers, marketers, and strategists to create high-impact messaging for various marketing channels. Your writing should drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions while maintaining a consistent tone of voice for different brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Advertising & Campaign Copywriting:
- Conceptualize and write attention-grabbing ad copies for print, digital, and social media campaigns.
- Develop compelling taglines, headlines, slogans, and call-to-action (CTA) phrases for marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to craft advertising scripts, product descriptions, and brand narratives.
Social Media & Digital Content:
- Write engaging social media content, including captions, posts, and ad copies tailored to different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Develop creative and interactive content for email marketing, digital ads, and landing pages.
- Optimize content for SEO and digital marketing performance.
Brand Storytelling & Content Strategy:
- Develop brand narratives and voice guidelines for various clients.
- Craft compelling brand stories, mission statements, and key messaging that align with a brand's identity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all written materials.
Website & Blog Content:
- Write persuasive website copy that enhances user experience and drives conversions.
- Research and create blog articles, case studies, and thought leadership content that establish brand authority.
- Optimize website content for SEO best practices and keyword integration.
Scriptwriting & Video Content:
- Create engaging scripts for TV, radio, digital video ads, and brand films.
- Work closely with video production teams to develop scripts for corporate videos, explainer videos, and storytelling content.
Editing & Proofreading:
- Review and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and error-free writing.
- Proofread marketing materials, presentations, and other corporate documents before publishing.
Collaboration & Brainstorming:
- Work closely with designers, marketers, and clients to conceptualize and execute campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh creative ideas and messaging strategies.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in advertising copywriting, preferably in an agency or brand communication environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative advertising campaigns, social media content, and brand storytelling.
