Copy Writer – Insurance Domain (1–3 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copy Writer with 1–3 years of experience in the insurance industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience writing content for insurance products, financial services, policy communication, sales campaigns, training materials, and customer engagement initiatives.

The role requires strong storytelling abilities, excellent command over language, and the capability to simplify complex insurance concepts into engaging and customer-friendly communication. The candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, training, and design teams to create impactful content aligned with business goals and brand voice.

  • Insurance product brochures
  • Sales decks
  • Email campaigns
  • Website content
  • Social media posts
  • Video scripts
  • Training and learning materials
  • Customer communication and policy-related content
  • Simplify complex insurance terminology into easy-to-understand messaging for customers and internal teams.
  • Develop persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, lead generation activities, and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, trainers, and stakeholders to maintain consistent brand communication.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, compliance, and consistency.
  • Conduct market and product research to create relevant and accurate insurance-related content.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with regulatory and compliance guidelines within the insurance sector.
  • Work from the client's location and coordinate directly with internal stakeholders for content requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Copywriting/Content Writing, preferably in the insurance or BFSI industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, terminology, and customer communication.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to write for multiple formats and audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital content writing is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Insurance, InsurTech, BFSI, or Financial Services companies preferred.
  • Experience creating sales enablement, learning & development, or marketing collateral is a plus.
