Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter responsible for crafting compelling, on-brand, and conversion-driven content across all customer touchpoints. The role spans social media, performance marketing, website, SEO, product descriptions, blogs, and CRM communications. You will ensure a consistent brand voice while tailoring messaging for different platforms and customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Campaign Copywriting
- Develop engaging copy for seasonal campaigns, launches, and brand storytelling
- Write taglines, headlines, and narrative-led concepts for integrated marketing campaigns
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice aligned with the brand identity
2. Social Media Content
- Write captions, reels scripts, carousel narratives, and engagement hooks
- Adapt messaging for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Collaborate with social media and design teams for content ideation
3. Performance Marketing (Ads)
- Create high-converting copy for Meta, Google, and other paid platforms
- Write multiple variations for A/B testing (hooks, CTAs, headlines)
- Optimize messaging based on performance insights
4. Website & E-commerce Copy
- Write homepage, landing page, category page, and navigation copy
- Create SEO-optimized product descriptions that balance storytelling and clarity
- Ensure product pages are persuasive, accurate, and conversion-focused
5. SEO & Blog Content
- Develop SEO-friendly articles, fashion guides, and trend pieces
- Conduct keyword research in collaboration with SEO teams
- Ensure content ranks while staying brand-aligned and engaging
6. Product Descriptions (Core Focus Area)
- Write detailed yet compelling product descriptions for apparel and accessories
- Highlight fabric, fit, styling tips, occasion relevance, and USP
- Maintain consistency across large catalogs while keeping language fresh
7. CRM & Retention Copy
- Write emailers, WhatsApp campaigns, push notifications, and loyalty communications
- Personalise messaging for different customer segments
- Support lifecycle marketing initiatives (welcome, win-back, reactivation, etc.)
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with merchandising, marketing, design, and performance teams
- Translate briefs into clear, creative, and actionable copy outputs
- Participate in campaign brainstorming and seasonal planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–6 years of copywriting experience (fashion/lifestyle/e-commerce preferred)
- Strong understanding of fashion language, trends, and consumer behavior
- Excellent command over English (and optionally regional languages)
- Experience writing for digital-first brands and performance marketing
- Ability to switch tone between storytelling and sales-driven writing
- Strong understanding of SEO basics and keyword integration
