Role Overview:
We are looking for a Copywriter to create concise, compelling, and action-oriented copy across channels including WhatsApp, SMS, Push Notifications, and in-app prompts.
You will be responsible for writing messages that reach millions of customers daily — helping drive engagement, action, and trust. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to communicate clearly in few words and an eagerness to learn and improve with every piece of copy they write.
Prior experience with marketing platforms is not required. Strong writing ability is what matters most — we will provide the training and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Write short-form copy for WhatsApp messages, Push Notifications, SMS, and in-app prompts.
- Develop multiple variations of each message with different hooks, tones, and calls-to-action to support testing.
- Adapt writing style based on audience and context — whether addressing a new customer, a returning one, or a specific campaign theme.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable copy templates for recurring and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and brand teams to ensure consistency in voice and messaging.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- Strong command over written English with an eye for brevity and clarity.
- Ability to write crisp, persuasive copy — whether for ads, notifications, captions, product descriptions, or any format where every word counts.
- A portfolio, writing samples, or test submissions that demonstrate short-form writing ability.
- Willingness to experiment, take feedback, and continuously improve.
- Good understanding of tone and voice — the ability to shift between conversational, professional, urgent, or empathetic as needed.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience or internships in copywriting, advertising, content writing, or communications.
- Exposure to D2C, skincare, beauty, health, or consumer brands.
- Basic understanding of what drives a customer to click, open, or take action.
