We're hiring: Copywriter

Mumbai | Full-time, on-site | 1–2 years experience

We're ButterWorks, part of the Schbang Network - we build creative solutions for brands across industries. Right now, we're hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading personal care and grooming brand with distinct lines for men and women.

What you'll be doing:

Writing copy across social, campaigns, and brand content - from quick-turnaround captions to bigger campaign lines

Switching tone and voice comfortably between two very different audiences (and sometimes in the same week)

Working closely with strategy and creative to turn briefs and insights into copy that actually lands, not just fills space

Contributing lines and ideas during pitches and campaign concepting, not just executing after the fact

Sitting in on brainstorms and client reviews, and sharpening your copy based on real feedback, fast

Keeping a consistent brand voice across formats - social, packaging, campaign, and everything in between

What we're looking for:

1–2 years of copywriting experience - agency background is a strong plus

A portfolio that shows range: snappy social copy and more considered, long-form writing

A sharp ear for tone - you can tell the difference between clever and trying too hard

Comfortable taking feedback and turning things around quickly without losing quality

Bachelor's in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field

Bonus points for prior experience writing for beauty, personal care, or FMCG brands
