The ideal candidate is someone who can write simple, sharp, and conversion-focused copy.
Someone who does not just write good English, but understands:
- What makes people stop scrolling
- Why people click on an ad
- What pain points make people take action
- How to write hooks for Meta and Google Ads
- How to turn a client's offer into strong messaging
- How to write nurturing messages that feel natural, not pushy
- How to improve copy based on campaign feedback
You should be curious, fast at learning, open to feedback, and comfortable working with a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Content & Copy Development
- Write scripts for Meta Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Reels, and YouTube-style video ads
- Write ad copies for performance campaigns
- Create landing page copy for webinar funnels, lead generation funnels, and sales campaigns
- Write WhatsApp nurturing messages for leads, webinar attendees, and buyers
- Write email sequences for lead nurturing and sales campaigns
- Create hooks, angles, captions, and short-form content ideas
- Turn client briefs into clear and persuasive campaign messaging
- Write copy for coaches, consultants, trainers, experts, and personal brands
- Funnel & Campaign Copy
- Understand the full customer journey from ad to registration to sale
- Write copy for different stages of the funnel
- Create messaging for webinar registration pages, thank-you pages, reminder messages, and follow-up sequences
- Work on L1, L2, and high-ticket nurturing campaigns
- Make copy more emotional, clear, and action-driven based on the target audience
- Research & Audience Understanding
- Research client industries, target audiences, pain points, desires, objections, and buying triggers
- Study competitor ads, landing pages, funnels, and content styles
- Understand what kind of messaging works for different audiences
- Create copy that feels relatable and practical for the Indian market
- Build strong hooks and messaging angles based on audience psychology
- Performance Improvement
- Work with the performance marketing team to understand campaign feedback
- Improve ad scripts and copies based on performance data
- Test different hooks, angles, formats, and messaging styles
- Understand why some copies work and why some stop working
- Keep improving copy based on results, not personal preference
- Collaboration
- Work closely with performance marketers, designers, video editors, funnel builders, and client servicing team members
- Give clear creative direction for ad creatives and video scripts
- Help the design and video team understand the message behind the copy
- Take feedback and make changes quickly
- Maintain brand voice and campaign goals across all communication
Key Interview Areas
Candidates will be evaluated on:
- Writing ability for ads, landing pages, and nurturing messages
- Understanding of hooks, pain points, and buyer psychology
- Ability to write simple, clear, and persuasive copy
- Understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, webinars, and funnels
- Ability to study a target audience and create strong messaging angles
- Ability to improve existing copy
- Comfort with feedback, deadlines, and team collaboration
- Use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for research and writing support
- What's Necessary
- Strong writing skills in English and Hinglish
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, ads, and funnels
- Ability to write for Indian audiences
- Laptop with reliable specifications
- Willingness to work from our Jodhpur office
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple client projects
- Portfolio or writing samples preferred
- Curiosity to learn performance marketing and sales copywriting
