Job Description: Copy Writer
Role Overview
The Copy Writer will support the marketing organization by developing high-quality, brand-aligned copy for U.S. healthcare audiences across multiple marketing channels. Based offshore, this role functions as an extension of the U.S. creative production team and is responsible for executing compliant, engaging, and audience-appropriate content at scale. The role requires strong English writing skills, familiarity with U.S. healthcare marketing, and close collaboration with U.S.-based creative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Copy Development
- Develop compelling, brand-aligned copy for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social, email, SMS, direct mail, and event materials.
- Adapt core messaging frameworks into channel-specific copy while maintaining consistency and clarity.
- Content Creation & Editing
- Write and edit content for thought leadership assets such as blogs, white papers, and webinars.
- Support executive communications and sales enablement materials.
Audience & Messaging Alignment
- Collaborate with creative teams, content managers, and campaign leads to ensure messaging consistency.
- Write content for B2B, B2C, and B2Provider audiences, adapting tone and complexity as required.
Brand, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain brand voice and style guidelines across all content.
- Participate in content QA and approval workflows, ensuring HIPAA compliance, fair balance, accuracy, and accessibility.
AI-Enabled Content Support
- Use AI tools to support drafting, content variations, and optimization.
- Apply human review to ensure accuracy, tone, and regulatory adherence.
Performance Optimization
- Review engagement metrics and A/B test results.
- Incorporate performance insights into future copy development.
Required Qualifications
- Overall, 7-9 years of experience with 3–5+ years of experience in copywriting or content development within marketing, advertising, or healthcare.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital, social, email, and print channels.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology, compliance standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Experience working with creative teams, content management systems, and multiple deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare or pharmacy benefit organizations.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled content creation tools.
- Ability to work effectively in an offshore delivery model with U.S. stakeholders.
