About The Role
The Training Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the infield training and assessment requirements of Orica Operations personnel. The officer will also conduct trainings and issue Statements of Attainment where required.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the site-based component of region obligations as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Ensuring training is completed in line with National Standards
- Operational safety and group standards governance ensure critical competencies are compliant
- Coordinate training activities across the sites assigned to them
- Ensure every employee has a training plan and is aware of it
- Ensure every site manager is aware of the training needs of the employees at site
- Update compliance reporting databases and spreadsheets
- Auditing of employee's training plans to ensure they comply with minimum standards for their role
- Conduct training where needed
- Final assessment of training where needed
What You Will Bring
- Experiences to develop Training Needs Analysis, Training Plan & manage training activities
- Thorough understanding of the Vocational Education and Training accreditation requirements; conduct training courses, both instructor led and technology based.
- Knowledge of explosives manufacture, delivery, on bench procedures, Safety implementation
- Personnel management skills, including priority management, goal setting, communication (oral, written & presentation), short-, medium- & long-term planning.
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE), with 2 years minimum in a training related role
- Technical/operational background (advantageous)
