Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cook role located in Chennai. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, and ensuring adherence to food safety and health regulations. Responsibilities include managing food inventory, assisting in meal planning, and collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain operational efficiency. The Cook will contribute to creating high-quality and visually appealing dishes that uphold the company's standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knowledge of diverse cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and kitchen operations
- Ability to manage food inventory, meal planning, and maintain timely output
- Excellent teamwork, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment
- Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant kitchen settings is highly desirable
