Role: Controls Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Work Hours: IST

Location: 100% Remote - (Pune or Banglaore)

We are looking for a Controls Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation and control systems. This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced automation solutions for large-scale industrial processes, including oil & gas environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC-based control systems

Design and deploy automation and control system architectures

Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning

Work with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, CAN, etc.)

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance

Support field installations and troubleshooting

Requirements

4+ years of experience in controls/automation engineering

Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or NI)

Experience with industrial automation systems and HMI development

Strong understanding of control systems, signal processing, and system dynamics

Experience with industrial communication protocols

Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs

Nice-to-Haves: Oil & gas or industrial process experience, programming (C++, Python, MATLAB), safety standards (IEC, SIL)
