Role Description This full-time, on-site Controls Engineer role is based in Coimbatore and focuses on designing, developing, and implementing control systems for robotic and industrial automation projects. The Controls Engineer will program and configure motion control systems, PLCs, and related hardware, and integrate electrical panels and safety systems with machinery. Daily responsibilities include commissioning equipment at customer sites, diagnosing and troubleshooting control issues, and ensuring systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and robotics teams, preparing technical documentation, and providing support and training to customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Control and Electrical Engineering for industrial automation applications.
  • Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve control system and equipment issues.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Motion Control and Robotics for programming, integration, and commissioning of automated systems.
  • Candidates should possess good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills to collaborate effectively and support project delivery.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
  • Experience with PLCs, drives, sensors, industrial communication protocols, and safety standards will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site at customer locations, manage multiple projects, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality is desirable.
