Position Overview:
Controls and SW Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of AUTOSAR based Software component models created using Simulink and State flow. He should be able to contribute in debugging and must have capability to resolve plant issue related to Software components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in Model Based Development on ICE Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/
- Experience in Fuel system and combustion of Diesel or Petrol Engines
- Experience with C/C++ code generation
- Experience in testing harness and perform MIL/SIL with model and code
- Experience in Autosar architecture-based software component development
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation software.
- Knowledge of Vehicle Systems Components
- Experience of working within an AGILE or Scrum framework.
- Experience in Test Automation.
- Update SW component skeleton model with newly created and modified interfaces
- Deliver updated and verified interface, ARXML, composition, skeleton and code (C, header and data dictionary) files in GIT HUB for successful RTE generation
- Create new SW components, new or updated data definition, new interfaces and runnable, update models with variant configurations, new enumerations definitions, new memory definitions, as needed
- Maintain documentation of work packages deliveries on GIT HUB
- Run scripts to update all models, ARXMLs, interfaces, compositions, code and data dictionary after RTE completion, for integration of SW
- Make model updates in agreement with the primary controls engineer
- Run custom scripts and tool to assure model is compliant to current Stellantis auto coding modelling practices.
- Support SW engineer for model and code review to assure best auto coding practices
Qualifications and interpersonal skills:
- Master or Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Strong understanding of the development of embedded software
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
- Good understanding of the development of embedded software
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS-INCA
