KSPG India consists of two automotive business units: Sensors and Actuators located in Takwe, Pune is specialised in products in the fields of emission reduction, emission control and exhaust gas recirculation systems as well as pumps. The Business Unit Bearings has two manufacturing locations, in Takwe (Pune) and in Supa (Ahmednagar), and is a leading supplier engine plain Bi-metal half bearings, flange bearings, thrust washers and bushes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory & Capex Management
- Monthly valuation of Inventory and tracking of inventory days against target
- Analysis of aging Inventory and discussions with operations head for reduction and control
- Inventory reports for statutory audit and group audit
- Capex discussions with Engineering team for calculation of payback on capital expenditures
- Evaluation of investment projects reviewing the NPV, Payback & IRR
Product Costing
- Product cost updation on monthly or quarterly basis in SAP and analysis of the Impact on Inventory Valuation and product profitability
- Calculating and defining the overhead rates in SAP as per Budget and defining the allocation cycle in SAP
Month End Closing Activity
- Monthly CO closing activity of controlling- WIP Calculation, variance analysis, Inventory valuation
- Co-ordination with various department for data preparation
- Prepare monthly material cost variance analysis (Material Price/ Mix/ Volume)
- Prepare sale report and sales variance analysis (Sales Price/ Mix/ Volume)
- Sales reconciliation via COPA
- Updating of product cost as per revised Material prices
- Monitoring of cost center wise accounting and provisions
- Monitoring sales price and raw material indexation impact and coordinate with sales team
- Preparing and analysis part wise customer wise margin report
- Preparing and analysis P&L schedules and submit to operation team
Yearly Budgeting
- Understand the cost center wise actual expenses and preparation of budget for next year by coordinating with various departments
- Uploading of Cost center wise expense Budget in SAP for tracking of actual expenses against budget
- Prepare material cost for Budget
- Monthly co-coordination with Plant operations and SCM for control on budget expenses
Statutory Audit & Cost Audit
- Prepare Inventory and material reports as per Statutory Audit requirement
- Prepare cost Audit backup working reports
Qualifications
- Qualification: M. Com/CMA
- Work Experience: 8-12 years in manufacturing MNC preferably Automotive.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills: Mandatory working knowledge of SAP FI & CO modules
