Role Summary:
The Manager Controllership will be responsible for financial reporting including preparation of Standalone and Consolidated Financial statements as per Ind AS, reviewing statutory compliances, driving internal controls including risk assessment and deployment of controls and end to end audit management. The role ensures accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Monthly MIS preparation including Segment wise PnL along with analytics and variance reasoning
- Preparation of Standalone and Consolidated Financial statements as per Ind AS
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
- Being vigilant of accounting and compliance aspects for the strategic decisions including compliance with Ind AS and company accounting policies.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Reviewing workings for monthly GST compliances
- Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for assessments and notices.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and special audits including addressing audit observation and discussing it with Controller
- Ensuring timely closure of audits
- Identification of risk and deployment of controls to mitigate risk including regular monitoring of effectiveness of controls deployed
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support cost controls and highlight financial risks and improvement areas.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring process efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business, Operations, HR, CS and Legal.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive automation and process improvements in finance operations.
- Driving accounting ERP migration projects
- Support system implementations and upgrades.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- CA with 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting roles
- Strong exposure to Ind AS, statutory compliance, audits, and taxation.
- Experience in managing teams
