Controller, Production for Pune Operations, Global Supply at Valmet

We are looking for
Controller, Production for Pune Operations. This position reports to Director, Finance, Global Production and is to be based in Markal, Pune, India. Our production facility is moving to the next level as part of Valmet Global Supply organization, and as a financial partner, you will proactively collaborate with numerous global stakeholders and local management to ensure the financial competitiveness of the facility.
In this position, you will be required to,
- Member of Pune Operations management team, provides expertise of Finance and other policy guidance to support operations.
- Support business decisions through operational analysis, including business performance measures & KPIs.
- Coach business with finance related topics
- Lead forecasting & budgeting process in Pune Operations. Manage the development of production operation units budgets and follow-up
- Prepare monthly reporting according to recently created Global Supply organization's management system.
- Driving cost competitiveness in production
- Driving global management reporting structures & report development at Pune operations.
- In charge of operation cost elements: capacity cost, capacity utilization, hourly rates, absorption.
- In charge of controlling inventory, investments, work in progress, fixed assets, Net Working Capital.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting practices, rules, and regulations (SOX, CAPEX, IAS / IFRS, USGaap, etc.) and corporate governance practices.
- Adhering to company's Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Adhering to company's Values, Business principles and Code of conduct.
To Succeed This Role, You Will Need
Qualification: University degree in Finance or Economics Experience: 5-10 years experience of financial management, business controlling, cost accounting in an international/global environment. Experience in product and project manufacturing financial management and ERP system Good written and spoken English. Advance Excel, Microsoft 365 Good understanding of the latest BI tools You enjoy working in a versatile role containing development of new demands and ways of working, but you also take responsibility for routines. Your collaboration skills are great, work style is proactive, you are result-oriented, and you have an ability to organize and prioritize your tasks in a fast-paced environment.
