As a Head Office Accounting (HOA) Analyst within the Bank Controllers team in the Bank Controller, Accounting Policy and Reporting organization, you will spend each day supporting Head Office (Parent and Bank) activities for key legal entities, including the Lead Bank and Parent Company. You will be responsible for preparing and processing SAP entries for cash settlements, wire transactions, and dividend payments, while monitoring daily cash movements, performing trend analysis, and producing schedules that support Legal Entity Controller regulatory and reporting requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply core accounting knowledge to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close by preparing Head Office Accounting journal entries and accurately parking entries in SAP.
  • Reconcile general ledger balances against sub-ledger systems and attest to accounts as the Legal Entity Controller.
  • Execute the monthly foreign exchange trade-out (FXTO) process by posting required entries and performing FX reclassifications and reconciliations.
  • Analyze and report monthly representative office expenses and provide summary reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and schedules produced during month-end and quarter-end cycles.
  • Maintain data integrity for reports, user tools, and underlying datasets, and update standard operating procedures.
  • Support account and cost center migrations and manage incremental activities as required.
  • Adopt efficiency tools and intelligent solutions to enhance operating models.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 4 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Strong accounting understanding
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or a Master's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to articulate needs and interface with peers, cross LOB teams and management
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and knowledge of ERP Tools such as SAP
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to the team objectives
  • Ability to identify and communicate issues in a timely manner with a controls mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Open to working in EMEA shift (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM) and should be able to deliver to tight deadlines. Occasional stretch of 2-3 hrs. during quarter ends
  • Additional - knowledge of business intelligent tools like - Alteryx, Tableau, Python would be beneficial
