Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be the architect for Genset control system platform & Industrial Automation
- Design interfaces between various proprietary hardware (ECU's, Gen control panels, PLC's, HMI's)
- Work directly with controls and governor manufacturers to improve functionality and mitigate issues
- Specify, design, validate, and maintain control systems
- Develop special customer applications with controls system
- Hardware responsibilities: voltage regulators, control panels, engine ECUs, PLC's, and other protective relays
- Work within a global electrical engineering organization and co-ordinate with global team in respective projects
- Devise strategic plans for problem resolutions using facts and gathered data
- Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the company Code of Conduct
- Involve in development and validation of special customer projects and as required.
- Leverage global knowledge base to support R&D developments and customized deployments
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Years: 8 to 12 Years
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation
- Gensets / Power systems + system integration knowledge
- SCADA systems software expertise
- Wago or similar PLC programming (IC 61131-3) + Controls experience
- Codesys or similar experience (OPTIX/Automation Studio/Wonderware)
- Communication protocol expertise (Modbus, CAN, OPC UA, TCP/IP)
