What we are looking for
Role: Control-M
Experience Range: 12 15 Years
Location: Pune/Bangalore/Chennai
Must Have:
- Work closely within the MAGICS team and with other stakeholders
- Designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and supporting Control-M solution on Windows.
- Designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, improving, and supporting the Batch Framework solution (G20).
- Support the job scheduling on Control-M Windows
- Troubleshoot and resolve the control-M server product issue
- Troubleshoot and resolve Batch Framework issue and complex job abends
- Support the Batch Control & Monitoring team (2L)
- Define and maintain automation procedures to facilitate the batch activity of the batch planning team (batch planning, scheduling & monitoring)
- Schedule and fix failed jobs via Control-M scheduling package.
- Agent/Client installation, Agent Trouble shooting and scheduling the critical batch & analyze the problem and solve them in Production environment.
- Interact with problem management, change management, and monitoring team if applicable
- Capture and build work instructions for 2L and preferable 1L (shift to left)
- Automate operational procedures following AG standards whenever possible in coordination with automation team
- Identify and build automate resolution of monitoring incident in PowerShell in coordination with automation team
- Identify and build, completely or partially, various automation of operational procedures for incidents in coordination with automation team
- Integrate within the existing self-service portal in collaboration with the tool's owner.
- Coordinate and organize the work with colleagues and ensure regular reporting to the stakeholders.
- Contributing to project activities concerning or Involving the Ctrl-M product and / or the Batch framework (LCM / new usage pattern / ..)
- Leading and coordinating with autonomy small activities also involving other team members inside and outside the team ( 50 md effort)
- Any other activities related to engineering of the control-M and Batch framework including the software infrastructure Manage and resolve issues reported by the SOC
- Create any documentation related to the above activities from technical doc to management summary
- Propose platform improvements
