Job Description

The Control-M Administrator is responsible for managing the Control-M environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of batch jobs and workflows. This includes scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and collaboration with application teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Control-M infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Design, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot batch jobs and workflows.
  • Apply software updates, patches, and hotfixes to the Control-M environment.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for Control-M.
  • Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to define job scheduling requirements.
  • Create and maintain job definitions, calendars, and scheduling conditions.
  • Optimize workflows and job dependencies to improve efficiency and meet SLAs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Control-M components, including Control-M/Server, Enterprise Manager, and Agents.
  • Support job migrations from other schedulers to Control-M/Helix.
  • Upgrade Control-M versions as required.
