Control-M 9 Administrator

Responsibilities :

Administer, configure, and maintain the Control-M 9 scheduling environment across distributed and enterprise systems. Monitor batch job execution, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution of production issues. Create, modify, and manage job scheduling workflows, calendars, alerts, and dependencies. Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure smooth workload automation operations and service availability.

Additional Responsibilities:

Experience supporting production environments with incident and problem management processes. Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management procedures. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Good communication and stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

2-6 years of experience in BMC Control-M Administration and Scheduling. Hands-on experience with Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, and Control-M Agents. Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience in Shell Scripting and automation tools for batch processing support. Understanding of job scheduling concepts, workload automation, and batch monitoring. Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL is preferred.
