The opportunity:

This system iscalled asMACH. This computerized system is built withthe state-of-the-art electronics,microprocessorsand digital signal processors, connected by high performance industry standard busses and fiber optic communication links. Theyoperateonvery highstandard application software developed by Hitachi Energy. As the system is being continuouslyevolved, the Station Operating and Monitoring System (SOM) is becoming more complex and customized. It requires a great deal of design,testing& verificationof HMI, SCADA,Networkand Cybersecurity areas.

Howyou'llmake an impact:

  • Responsible for detailed project planning, schedule review, budget estimation & review, project scope.

  • Interfacing withmultiple engineering disciplines for technical clarifications, project meetings, internal and customer.

  • Ensuringthe technical scope and inputs are clear to the project team.

  • Actingas the single point of interface between projects and the Test area, aligning project needs,prioritiesand follow-ups, inventory management for the test area.

  • Managingproject priorities and resource allocation within the test area, handling Inward and Outward to and from testarea.

  • Knowledgeonthe quality process connected with the project execution, continuous improvement programs.

  • Take ownershipforthe project KPIs such as OTD,COPQetc, risk and Opportunitiesmeeting, change Management in the projects.

  • Drivingthe improvement programs in project and process.

  • Responsibleto ensurecompliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Living Hitachi Energy's corevalues ofsafety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree in BE / BTech (EEE).

  • 4 - 7 years of project management / project lead experience in the industrial control system or SAS.

  • Control and protection commissioning background.

  • Knowledgeinproject management concepts.

  • Experience in Process and ISO audits, quality / L6S / Continuous improvement programs.

  • Exposure in project planning tools, MS Project.

  • Proficiencyin both spoken & written English language isrequired.
