Control Engineer - PLC

General tasks in the field of control and regulation synthesis, as well as:

•Development of control and regulation algorithms according to requirements in the area of process control and machine network control

•Programming of control systems (e.g. SIMATIC or CoDeSys)

•Modularization and standardization of complex control and regulation systems desirable.

•Definition of standardized interfaces between subcomponents and systems

•Definition, execution and documentation of standardized and automated tests (MiL and HiL) for quality assurance.

•Documentation of algorithms in UML desirable.

•Interface function to the area of modeling and data engineering

•Support as required during commissioning and, if necessary, second-level support of the implemented solutions.

•Creation of requirement specifications or development of functional specifications

JOB-RELATED REQUIREMENTS PROFILE

•Completed up to 4 years of control training at a university (e.g. Bachelor's degree with final examination)

•Relevant professional experience in the field of control engineering

•Experience with industrial interfaces and SCADA systems such as WinCC

•At least 2 years of experience in programming with SIEMENS TIA Portal desirable

•Experience in programming control systems (e.g. SIMATIC, TIA, incl. WinCC or CoDeSys)

•Experience in test automation desirable

•Confident handling of common MS products

•Business fluent in English, German desirable

•High degree of independence and self-organization

•Continuous documentation of the work over the entire life cycle

•Knowledge of SCRUM and ASANA desirable

•Systematic and team-oriented way of working
