The opportunity

As a Control Design Engineer specializing in Transformer design at the Global Engineering Centre in Vadodara, India, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. Your Responsibilities

  • The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Oil Type Power Transformer design covering different countries.
  • Responsible to design Control panel for Power transformer.
  • Design and implement control systems using control theory and mathematical models, including defining boundaries, developing control logic, integrating sensors, hardware, and software, and applying algorithms with feedback to ensure operability and optimize performance of devices, subsystems, and complete systems.
  • Responsible for making schematics, Interface Documents, Bill Of Material, Auxiliary Load Calculation and project supporting documents for customer submission
  • Ability to understand & Incorporate scheme received from suppliers for transformer instruments (such as OLTC, CMS, Numerical Relay, etc.)
  • Coordination between supplier, production and manufacturing team for project execution
  • Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
  • Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering
  • 4-8 years working in Electrical panel design for Power Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
  • Good understanding of Schematics, Protection concepts and Operation philosophy.
  • Knowledge on CAD software. Zuken E3 is considered as an advantage.
  • Should have good understanding of IEC /IEEE Standards.
  • Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
  • Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
