Job Title: Controls & Instrumentation Technician
Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Controls & Instrumentation Technicians to support the daily operations, preventive maintenance, and upgrade projects of industrial control systems. The role involves hands-on work with field instrumentation, control panels, and SCADA systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of control systems and field instrumentation.
- Assist in commissioning and testing of control system upgrades and modifications.
- Support the installation and calibration of sensors, transmitters, actuators, and other field devices.
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies.
- Maintain instrumentation inventory, tools, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure proper functioning of control panels, I/O modules, and network connections.
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors during service visits or equipment replacements.
- Provide support during shutdowns, startups, and emergency maintenance.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of instrumentation principles.
- Hands-on experience with field devices (pressure, temperature, flow, level instruments).
- Handon knowledge on Instrument Termination
- Ability to use multimeters, calibrators, and other diagnostic tools.
Soft Skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues.
Education & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in industrial maintenance or instrumentation roles.
