Your Impact

As a Contract Specialist within the Legal Department, you'll contribute to contract administration by supporting reviews, compliance checks, and risk identification. You'll assist in evaluating RFPs, preparing contract summaries, and ensuring that contract terms align with Jacobs policies and client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support contract reviews and risk assessments for new and existing agreements
  • Assist in proposal phase activities including certs and reps, compliance checks, and contract term analysis
  • Maintain and update contract databases and ensure version control
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding contract status and requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation standards
  • Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and Project Controls teams on contract-related issues

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum qualification undergraduate degree from a reputable university, preferably an LLB
  • 23 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or legal support
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of contract structures, terms, and risk elements
  • Ability to interpret RFPs and client requirements

Ideally, You'll Also Have


  • Certification in contract management (e.g., NCMA's CFCM or equivalent)
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Icertis, SAP Ariba)
  • Exposure to public sector contracting or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance frameworks

Availability This role requires flexible working hours to support global operations and ensure timely project delivery. The ability to work hours that accommodate users across different time zones in a hybrid environment is preferred.
