Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Sourcing & Relationship Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers in alignment with global requirements.
- Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with suppliers to drive project success and procurement objectives.
- Contract Management & Negotiation:
- Own the commercial actions throughout the contract lifecycle, including managing bids, renewals, and amendments.
- Focus on rate kaizen, total system costs, and medium-to-high complexity contract negotiations.
- Ensure that all documentation and exhibits are complete and accurate in final contracts, including obtaining necessary functional reviews and management approvals.
- Market & Spend Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, industry drivers, and business needs to provide fast and innovative commercial support.
- Manage spend analysis, market intelligence, and identify opportunities for consolidation, supplier base rationalization, and demand management.
- Procure to Pay (P2P) Operations:
- Handle complete Procure to Pay (P2P) activities for assigned projects.
- Ensure effective contract lifecycle management, leveraging relevant partners across the organization for smooth project execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Proactively collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and procurement category families, to maximize commercial outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 (or equivalent).
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in additives procurement or contracts, or at least 1 year in oil and base oil procurement.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and business drivers.
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Expertise in procurement strategies, supplier sourcing, and spend analysis.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the full procurement cycle, from sourcing to contract lifecycle management.
