Contracts Manager (Civil)

Overview

Position: Contracts Manager

Location: Andheri (5 minutes walkable from WEH Metro Station)

Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience

Education: B.E. Civil Engineering

Project type: Industrial Park / Textile Park

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end contract management process for Civil, MEP, Finishing, and Infrastructure
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, work orders, service agreements, and subcontractor agreements
• Coordinate the tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contractor selection
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard contractors, subcontractors, and specialized agencies based on technical and commercial assessments
• Conduct contractor prequalification and due diligence to ensure compliance with company standards
• Monitor contractor performance, contractual obligations, project milestones, and compliance requirements
• Manage contract variations, change orders, claims, disputes, extensions of time, and commercial settlements

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
• Expertise in construction procurement and contract administration
• Knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and contractor ecosystem
• Ability to prepare and analyze comparative statements and cost evaluations
• Strong vendor development and relationship management skills
