Senior Contracts Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience: 6 10 years in high-rise residential projects (preferably Mivan formwork system)

Work Location: ASBL HO | Gachibowli | Hyderabad

About Role

As a Contracts Manager (610 years experience), you will independently handle contractor and labour contracting for high-rise residential Mivan projects under the guidance of senior leadership. You will be responsible for contractor finalisation, manpower coordination, billing validation, cost monitoring, and ensuring uninterrupted project execution across RCC and finishes stages.

This role requires strong execution exposure with the ability to manage contractors on live project sites.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end contractor and labour contracting activities for assigned project packages (RCC / Finishes / Infra / Landscape / Clubhouse).
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize contractors in coordination with senior management.
  • Maintain a reliable contractor database with alternate vendors to ensure execution continuity.
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure manpower availability and timely work front clearance.
  • Monitor RCC contractors (basement & tower) for productivity, quality alignment, and manpower deployment.
  • Oversee finishes contractors including sampling approvals, labour control, and design coordination support.
  • Verify contractor bills, rate analysis, quantity reconciliation, and support in certification and payment processing.
  • Assist in handling scope variations, rate amendments, and contractual clarifications during execution.
  • Resolve on-site contractor and labour issues including manpower shortages and execution bottlenecks.
  • Track manpower deployment and productivity using ERP and Excel.
  • Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, PMO, and HO Contracts Team to ensure seamless execution.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong hands-on exposure in contractor handling for RCC and finishes in high-rise projects.
  • Practical experience in negotiation, rate analysis, and contractor finalisation.
  • Good understanding of manpower planning and productivity monitoring.
  • Experience in contractor billing, quantity reconciliation, and scope change management.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and contract documentation.
  • Strong Excel skills (rate comparison, cost analysis, manpower tracking).
  • Good coordination and communication skills with site and HO teams.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned packages with accountability.
