Role: SDDC Architect HP SimpliVity - 6B
Role Description: The SDDC Architect would need to have at least 12+ years of experience. Worked on multiple SDDC solutions such as HP SimpliVity, Nutanix & VxRail
Requirements/Must Haves
- A strong understanding of server and storage platforms and software defined networking.
- Architect, Design, Build and provide implementation and operational guidance for outcome based SDDC solutions that incorporate VMware and 3rd party products.
- 5 years practical experience designing and building Datacenter for large-scale infrastructure projects with an emphasis on sustainable production operations.
- 5 years of practical experience with distributed systems, multi-site and/or Cloud environments.
- 5 years of practical hands-on experience with VMware vSphere.
- 5+ years of practical experience in HP SimpliVity, VxRail & Nutanix
- Demonstrable experience with the consumption and operation of Public Cloud services.
- Identify and articulate VMware product opportunities to address gaps, focus for improvement and new capabilities
- Collaborate with peers to review customer and partner SDDC designs and operational procedures, provide guidance and recommendations
- Work with Quality Engineering to implement SDDC designs, perform stringent scale and stress testing
- Articulate design decisions and defense, as well as lessons learned and best practices at varying levels of detail depending on audience from Engineering through to Leadership
- Be recognized as a subject matter expert of at least one discipline of SDDC infrastructure and services
- Expertise on VMware products such as VCD , VMware NSX & VCE
- Preferred to have experience sizing and designing for Cisco Hyperflex, UCS, HP SimpliVity and Dell EMC hardware HCI or converged platforms
- At least two architect level certifications on SDDC technology
- Preferred
- Experience in project experience in M & A and IT infra separation
- Experience in security products and knowledge on how they complement and work in SDDC
- Excellent Communication Skills is must
