Role: AnalystSr. Analyst - Contract Reviewer/Negotiation Support - Mumbai

Job Summary: We are seeking an attorney to perform the legal review and support negotiation of English language contracts between WTW entities and clients, carriers and suppliers. These contracts will include, Master Services Agreements, Scopes of Work, Disclaimer and Release Letters, RFP & Tenders, Software Agreements, Data Privacy Agreements, and Business Associate Agreements.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform legal review, draft and recommend amendments to US and English law contracts/agreements as per agreed guidelines and playbooks.
- Provide legal support to internal clients, across all lines of business, with respect to their contracts; liaising with them via email and Teams calls in a professional manner.
- Support negotiation with external counterparties to manage risk and achieve desired outcomes.
- Have access to the Contra ct Lifecycle Management System called COMET and work directly with Sales Operations Centre of Excellence.
- Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead or a member of the relevant in-country Legal Team in accordance with the escalation protocols.
- Focus on quality with the understanding of the financial/legal implications of the contract provisions.
- Consistently meet service levels agreed with all relevant parties involved in the contract review process.
- Understand and O GC Policies and contracting framework and requirements, as articulated in the New Work Policy, contracting playbooks, Limitation of Liability policy, Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy and others posted on the intranet.
- Escalate errors and concerns to the Team Lead.
- Actively participate in all required interactions (Team huddles, stakeholder discussions, etc.)
- Work as per compliance requirements of the organization, including the Code of Conduct.
Qualification: B.A & LLB
Skills:
- At least 2 years experience in reviewing and supporting negotiation of services or software contracts from a sell-side and/or buy-side perspective, in accordance with templates, playbooks and guidelines.
- Ability to apply critical thinking when dealing with unusual or complex reviews.
- Excellent command over written and spoken English, and confidence in drafting both contractual terms and explanations of position.

- · Experience of contracting under US and/or English law.
- · Ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
- · Ability to learn new processes and systems.
- · Experience in working with internal clients on risk analysis of the contractual terms.

- · Should be a quick learner and a good team player with excellent people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of GDPR or US privacy laws is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a financial services or other corporate environment is an advantage.
