Network Engineer – L2 Operations (Core Team)

Location: Pune / Remote (India)

Experience: 6–12 Years

Shift: 24x7 Rotational Support

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Core Network Engineer to support a large enterprise global network environment. The role involves network operations, incident management, troubleshooting, change implementation, and maintaining network stability across business-critical infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents (P1/P2/P3)
  • Support Routing & Switching environments.
  • Implement approved network changes and maintenance activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Support firewall, load balancer, DNS, and proxy infrastructure.
  • Work closely with global engineering and operations teams.
  • Participate in weekend implementation and maintenance windows.

Required Skills

  • Strong Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Cisco Enterprise Networks
  • F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM)
  • Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA/Firepower)
  • Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
  • Zscaler / Bluecoat Proxy
  • Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • ServiceNow / ITILPreferred
  • CCNA / CCNP
  • Enterprise Banking or Financial Services experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale production environments
