Role Description

This is a contract and remote role for a Contract Manufacturing Partner in Precision Product Development. The individual will collaborate closely with the Saree Queen team to bring the innovative Precision Pleat Maker product to life with world-class materials and craftsmanship. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing premium suppliers, managing the manufacturing process, ensuring quality control, conducting compliance checks, and coordinating timely production and delivery. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, communication, and a keen understanding of premium product engineering.

We are looking for skilled manufacturing partners to collaborate on a premium handcrafted product for our brand Saree Queen by Rose.

This role is not a salaried job, but a contract-based collaboration for artisans, workshops, and manufacturers who specialize in:

MDF / Wood cutting

Precision laser cutting (Acrylic)

Small-scale fabrication

Custom component development

High-quality finishing work

Responsibilities:

• Produce parts based on measurements and prototype samples
• Collaborate on product refinement
• Ensure quality, durability & precision
• Deliver samples and small-batch orders on time

Ideal Partner:

• Has woodwork or acrylic cutting machinery
• Has experience with custom product fabrication

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in precision manufacturing, materials sourcing, and production processes
• Strong skills in quality assurance, compliance standards, and supply chain management
• Proficiency in vendor communication, contract negotiations, and collaboration with design and engineering teams
• Experience with product development for high-end or artisanal brands is highly desirable
• Adaptability to work in a remote setting and manage diverse teams and operations effectively
• Passion for fashion, textile innovation, or traditional Indian craftsmanship is a plus
• A background in engineering, product design, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome
