Job Description

Designation: Contract Management

Experience & Education Qualification: - B.E. Civil with Law degree (4-6 years exp) / Law graduate (6-8 years exp)

Location: Head Office, Ballard Estate, Mumbai

Important Parameters

1. Should have experience of working in EPC industry (State & Central govt. projects) of PWD & PHE dept.

2. Sound knowledge about Contract management

3. Must have experience & exposure in Arbitration and Risk Management

4. Should know Marathi language (Speak, Read)

Job Responsibilities:

A. Tendering

  1. Tender identification: Identify and track relevant tender opportunities.
  2. Tender preparation: Shall be able to thoroughly understand tender clauses. Check the pre-qualification criteria and tender requirements. Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements. Pre-bid meeting points.
  3. Bid management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders i.e. government officers & consultants to gather necessary information and documentation. Shall be able to form good relations with these stakeholders.
  4. Claim management & Arbitration handling skills will be preferred.
  5. Experience of correspondence with client, sub-contractor and supplier
  6. Knowledge of Escalation & Price Variation clause and its working x
  7. Resource development skills for suppliers and contractors 8. Experience & preparation of site investigation report

B. Business Development

  1. Must be able to learn / gain in depth technical and commercial knowledge of our manufactured products (PCCP, BWSC & PSC pipes)
  2. Research and identify potential clients, projects, and partnerships.
  3. Must be able to present the information / advantages / benefits of our manufactured products to clients & customers. Shall have the ability to convince them to adopt our products in Irrigation / water supply projects and other relevant pipeline projects.
  4. Shall establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  5. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  7. Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand network and identify opportunities.
  8. Liasoning skills with clients at various levels up to Secretary/Chief Engineer
  9. Budgeting, setting targets for business potential.
  10. Readiness to travel in Maharashtra, Gujrat and other states as per requirement.

Job Specification

  1. Candidate must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point). Must have strong analytical, numerical, communication and presentation skills.
  2. Must be able to work effectively within a team environment.
  3. Excellent letter drafting skills.
