Role Description The Contract Manager role at NCML is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Contract Manager is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and agreements related to agri-logistics, warehousing, collateral management, and associated services. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure contract terms are accurate, compliant with applicable laws and company policies, and aligned with business objectives. The role involves monitoring contract performance, tracking key milestones, managing renewals, and supporting resolution of commercial and contractual disputes in a timely and fair manner. The Contract Manager also supports risk assessment, maintains organized contract documentation, and contributes to continuous improvement of contract processes and templates across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong contract management and administration skills, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to contracts, preferably in agri-logistics, warehousing, or financial services.
  • Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and use of contract management or ERP tools for tracking contract status and performance.
  • Analytical skills for assessing risk, evaluating terms and conditions, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across legal, finance, operations, and business teams.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a structured approach to managing multiple contracts and deadlines.
  • Relevant academic background such as a degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in contract management are an advantage.
  • Experience in contract management or related roles, ideally within agriculture, commodities, logistics, banking, or financial services.
  • Comfort working on-site in Gurugram with a focus on ethical conduct, integrity, and adherence to company compliance standards.
