The Contract Manager plays a critical role in partnering with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Functional Centers of Excellence (FCEs) to manage all phases of the sourcing lifecycle. This includes developing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, leading negotiations, and drafting and administering complex commercial contracts across a wide range of goods and services.

You will act as a trusted advisor to internal partners, ensuring sound decision-making, regulatory compliance, and strong vendor relationships that support ETS's mission and long-term procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including developing bid documents, evaluating proposals, and negotiating and awarding contracts.
  • Draft, review, and revise contractual documentssuch as leases, licenses, statements of work, and amendmentsto ensure clear terms, reduced risk, and alignment with ETS policies.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, including new agreements and renewals, ensuring accurate documentation, timely signatures, and use of proper signatory authority.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable representative in the Source-to-Settle process, partnering closely with business units while providing expert guidance on supplier engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, government regulations, and ETS requirements related to Accessibility, FCPA, GDPR, information security, PIA, PCI, and other standards.
  • Monitor market trends and maintain a strong understanding of sourcing best practices to inform short- and long-term procurement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate contract records in enterprise systems and support continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop purchase orders aligned with negotiated agreements.
  • Support and occasionally lead special projects, contributing to departmental goals around cost savings, efficiency, and quality.
  • Work as a member of the global category team and collaborate with sourcing colleagues for market and segment insights.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, OR SPECIAL LICENSES

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or commensurate appropriate business experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Trade or industry association membership optional
  • 8+ progressively responsible category management plus contract writing, negotiating, and managing experience within a procurement or supplier contract management organization

  • The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base pay is only one aspect of the Total Rewards Package that will be offered to the successful candidate.
