Job Description Contracts Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of contract conditions, commercial terms, and project scheduling requirements.
- Ensure effective contract compliance and efficient contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage claims, including:
- Identification of potential claim events
- Preparation of claim justifications and strategic development of cases
- Issuance of timely notices and contemporary records
- Submission and follow-up of claims related to Extension of Time (EOT) and Change of Scope until realization.
- Prepare delay analysis and develop impacted schedules in coordination with planning teams.
- Prepare, maintain, and update EOT and Cost Claim management formats, registers, and documentation.
- Review and analyze project risk factors and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with and guide the site team to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and early identification of new claim opportunities.
- Formulate, implement, and monitor project communication systems and procedures.
- Maintain and control all contractual documents from contract award through project close-out.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in contracts administration and claims management in construction / infrastructure projects
