Role: Automation Tester
Experience: 7–9 years
Location: Hyderabad (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable)
Duration: 9 months(Extended as per the business need)
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Frameworks
* Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright
* Create reusable, modular, and scalable automation components aligned with engineering standards
* Perform data quality checks including row counts, schema validation, reconciliation, and business rule validation
* Test AWS based workflows involving Lambda, S3, EventBridge, SQS, CloudWatch, etc.
* Validate error handling, retries, and observability for cloud native services
* Support testing in distributed, event driven architectures
* Execute regression, smoke, and sanity suites as part of pipeline quality gates
* Analyze test results, triage defects, and work closely with developers on root cause analysis
* Ensure test artifacts and evidence are available for audit and compliance when required
Skills
* Strong hands on experience with Playwright for UI automation
* Proficiency in Python or Typescript
* Handson exposure to **AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, etc.)
* Good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
* API automation using REST (Postman / Rest Assured / custom frameworks)
* Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, custom dashboards)
* Exposure to performance or non functional testing is a plus

* Ability to work independently in fast paced agile teams
* Clear communication with developers, data engineers, and product owners
