Job Title: GES - Contract Administrator
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Position Overview: The Global External Sourcing Contract Administrator for India will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contractors for Syntax, an SAP System Integrator (SI) with a rapidly expanding Delivery Center of Excellence (CoE) in India. This role will focus on handling key administrative tasks such as contract creation, approval, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, in addition to contribute to the contractor's onboarding, managing, and deboarding processes
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Delivery Center's anticipated 500% growth over the next two years.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Creation & Administration:
Manage the creation, approval, and administration of contractor contracts, ensuring all contractual terms align with internal policies, project requirements, and legal regulations.
Collaborate with legal and business teams to review, approve, and execute contracts.
Ensure that all contracts are compliant with local labor laws, company standards, and specific project requirements.
Contractor Onboarding & Integration:
Oversee the smooth onboarding process for contractors, including providing them with necessary tools, training, and resources to be successful on projects.
Ensure all contractors are onboarded in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Act as the main point of contact for contractors during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience.
Contractor Management & Performance:
Manage and monitor contractor performance, ensuring that work quality and timelines meet organizational expectations.
Address performance issues and work closely with contractors and internal teams to resolve concerns.
Track contractor utilization and project allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
Contractor Deboarding & Offboarding:
Oversee the deboarding and offboarding process when contractors complete assignments or their contracts end, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Ensure that all offboarding activities, such as equipment return, knowledge transfer, and exit interviews, are handled in a professional and efficient manner.
Gather feedback from contractors during the offboarding process to continuously improve contractor engagement strategies.
Vendor & Agency Management:
Maintain strong relationships with contractors, and other external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality talent.
Manage external vendors to ensure that contractors meet the business's requirements, timelines, and budget.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure that all contractor agreements comply with the countries labor laws, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.
Regularly audit contractor contracts and processes to identify and mitigate any compliance or risk-related issues.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, labor laws, and best practices for contractor management and ensure that these are implemented effectively.
Administrative Tasks:
Track and manage contractor data, including start and end dates, contract extensions, renewals, and terminations.
Ensure that all contractor-related documents are stored and maintained in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in contractor management, external sourcing, or talent acquisition, with a proven track record in managing large-scale contractor workforces.
Familiarity with SAP ecosystems and the specific skills required for SAP-related roles is a significant advantage.
Experience in contract creation, approval processes, and vendor management is required.
Strong administrative skills with experience in maintaining accurate records and managing contract-related documentation.
Skills:
Deep understanding of the full contractor lifecycle, including sourcing, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Strong expertise in contract administration, including the creation, approval, and execution of contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements for contractors in India.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
Certification in HR, Vendor Management, or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or similar) is dsirable
Note: This role may require occasional travel to the Delivery Center or other locations within India, depending on business needs.
